# Production guide — Set up Appmint Mobile and take your CRM with you

**Companion manuscript:** [Read the course](../appmint-mobile-welcome-and-daily-work.md). **Production state:** real stills and verified Android interactions are available; a finished video is not. Native footage must identify the current-source local training build. Public Android installation was verified on 18 September; iPhone capture remains open.

## The promise and the honest limit

The useful story is a customer preference that travels from the phone to the desk. Open on Maya’s persisted Notes, then rewind to how Jordan signed in and found the record. End with the same text in Studio Manager after a reload.

Do not open with a ringing phone, a completed task or a calendar reminder. None was completed in this course. Do not label the locally compiled Android app as the App Store release, a physical Android handset, or an iPhone. It is the native application running in an Android API36 emulator.

The historical save changed a score outside the form. The local patch now preserves untouched fields in eight regression checks. A 24 September Android save/reopen preserved the visible fields; hidden-field desktop comparison remains open. Label the old score failure as historical and do not cut it into the new recording as a current result.

There is a separate Maya lead in the production organisation from the enquiry course. Do not cross-cut the production lead with this local native session and call it one verified handoff. The desktop readback for this video is capture26 from the local organisation.

Credentials remain in the private training account files. Never copy them to the storyboard, narration, terminal overlay or asset manifest.

These are editorial durations, not timestamps from a recorded clip. Record enough dwell time for each field to be read and each result to settle.

Assets01/02/04/05 show the older release and an unsuccessful sign-in attempt, not the current successful path. Diagnostic23-input-check and23-ime-diagnostic are not learner-result screenshots. Earlier24 is an empty-note save attempt superseded by25/26. Never fill a gap with these images simply because they are in the same folder.

## What must be recorded before publication

1. **Installation footage:** use the existing verified Android installation stills; record continuous download/install footage if needed for the video. Public-release authentication is distinct from local acceptance and is not a gate for closing a local repair.
2. **iPhone:** record the actual App Store installation, normal login, Home and same-record readback on an iPhone. Match labels to that release. Do not place Android images in an iPhone frame.
3. **Continuous save sequence:** record opening Maya, typing the note, saving, reopening, then reloading desktop. No cuts that conceal an error or make a failed save look successful.
4. **Metadata regression:** preserve and compare score, pipeline, stage, owner, tags and other non-edited fields. If they change, keep the warning and do not present the edit workflow as ready for live leads.
5. **Tasks and Calendar:** if later builds fix them, record the full creation/reload/due-date result before rewriting the course. A new screen or successful toast alone is insufficient.
6. **Authentication branches:** capture a real authorised 2FA challenge and accepted staff invitation on accounts controlled for training. Never send login codes to fictional example addresses.

For motion capture, record native display output. Portrait captures are1080×2400; preserve legibility when placing them beside desktop1440×900. Keep the original stills unchanged and add any numbered highlights as a separate production overlay. Close unrelated apps and hide private notifications before recording.

## Reset without losing evidence

For another take, use the training lead only. Read its existing Notes before resetting text; do not overwrite a colleague’s update. After the take, save the final course sentence and reopen it on both surfaces. The missing-ID issue is fixed; create a training task only when ready to verify its saved result. Restore any temporary Home switches to the layout stated in the manuscript.

Do not use **Delete account** as a reset. It is not the same as signing out. Do not delete the source topic archive or the before/after score evidence.

## Narration boundaries

Say “native Android test build” and “the same organisation’s record.” Do not say “works on both phones” until the iPhone pass exists. Say “Notes saved” after readback, not “activity logged.” Do not call the Events panel disappearing a requirement; only the Event app group was hidden. Do not claim a saved task, a reminder, a successful call, an accepted invitation or a recovered password from these assets.

## Additional captured ending

[More → Logout](../assets/appmint-mobile/32-more-logout.png) and [remembered account after logout](../assets/appmint-mobile/33-logout-result.png) are real native captures. Add a short chapter explaining close versus sign out. Do not say the remembered tile signs in without a password: the next tile action was not tested. Logout clears local layout/availability settings in source, unlike the ordinary restart exercised earlier.

## 24 September continuation assets

The new local session uses Ada Learner and the existing Maya training lead at `maya.bennett@example.invalid`. Do not splice it into Jordan’s earlier session as one continuous take. No new video was recorded. Studio failed to render during this continuation, so these captures do not establish a new phone-to-desktop handoff.

## Live task acceptance — 24 September continuation

The current local task create attempt fails with `Not found: /repository/create`. Use [actual failure](../../application-fixes/assets/mobile-local/17-task-create-error.png) if explaining the current limit; do not narrate a successful saved task. [Filled form](../../application-fixes/assets/mobile-local/16-task-ready.png) shows the verified inputs and date. Android's handwriting onboarding initially intercepted text; it was dismissed and actual fields checked before submission. Diagnostic screenshot15 shows that operating-system overlay and is not a task result. Follow MOB01-006 for repair and replacement footage. No new video was recorded.

## Replacement task ending — locally verified after repair

The backend create route is repaired. Replace the failed-save ending with [saved task reopened](../../application-fixes/assets/mobile-local/18-task-saved-reopened.png) and [after app restart](../../application-fixes/assets/mobile-local/19-task-after-restart.png). Title, Note, New status and the exact 2026-09-25 date persisted. Capture17 is historical before-fix evidence. No video has yet been recorded for this sequence. ## Desktop and date-label continuation — verified locally

Use [fresh desktop Notes/score50](../../application-fixes/assets/mobile-local/21-desktop-notes-score.png) with the Ada phone captures for the same-session handoff. Studio startup is repaired locally; the earlier blocked comparison is superseded. [Corrected Due tomorrow label](../../application-fixes/assets/mobile-local/20-task-due-tomorrow.png) belongs to the rebuilt Android app. The exact date stays2026-09-25. Keep historical failure captures only for troubleshooting context.

## Final recovery and shared-device sequence

Use native24 (empty authenticator challenge) →25 (Home), then Studio27 (successful reset) → native28 (new-password Home). Never expose QR secrets, codes, email link tokens or passwords. Recovery and challenged login passed locally. The saved-account tile was tested and can reopen Home; show Forget this account after Logout on a shared handset. This supersedes earlier notes saying these branches were untested. No finished video is claimed.
