# Companion video: Your Appmint organisation, first setup and tools

**Manuscript:** [Appmint welcome](../appmint-welcome.md). **Fresh local fixture:** Jordan Morgan, organisation `cedar-local-mu8892bk`, business display name Cedar & Form, initial site `cedsite`. **Evidence:** [19 September execution](../../learner-review-records/appmint-welcome.md) and [support/link repairs](../../application-fixes/welcome-support.md). Genuine stills are supplied; motion clips have not been recorded.

## Story and format

Use three chapters: create the account; understand the tools and save the business identity; get help and return. Suggested length12–16 minutes includes pauses for data entry. Show each committing action and its saved result; use the Markdown for reference tables and troubleshooting.

Opening narration: “Your first Appmint setup gives your business an identity, a place to manage its work, and a site to build on. We’ll create the account, make sense of the tools, save the business name and practise returning.” Open on the actual created welcome screen, then the saved Cedar & Form profile.

## Continuity and privacy

The fresh local captures use marketing4050, Studio3100 and the local backend. Normal public learner instructions retain public product addresses. Label a local rehearsal as local. The repaired welcome now honors the configured Studio URL; the original signup capture predates that link repair. Do not present its production target as the current local navigation.

Use one authorised training account for fresh motion footage. Mask passwords, copied secrets, invitation tokens and credential-bearing URLs. Do not film private JSON files. Appmint and its apps can be used for this course without purchasing a plan; do not insert a paid-phone requirement or upgrade detour.

Vibe is production-only. Historical authenticated Vibe pictures show `learnmu4zs1td`, not the fresh local Cedar identity. Introduce them as a separate orientation insert with its date/build. No local Vibe authentication or generated project is demonstrated.

## Shot list

`welcome/` below means [fresh welcome captures](../../learner-review-records/assets/welcome-local-20260919/). `support/` means [repair captures](../../application-fixes/assets/welcome-support/).

| Scene | Exact reference | Action to film | Narration and checkpoint |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Start free | welcome/01-local-marketing.png | Home → Start free → email → Continue with Email | Use the learner's own email; do not claim an inbox challenge occurred in this rehearsal. |

| Created welcome | welcome/03-welcome-created.png | Read Studio/Vibe choices and sign-in details; copy organisation ID/address | Signup opened welcome directly; no sign-in detour. Never reveal the password. |
| Capability map | welcome/03-welcome-created.png | Scroll all six capability cards and Learn links | Explain why each matters to the business. The embedded video was blank in this capture; do not claim it played. |
| Enter Studio | support/03-welcome-local-target.png and04-welcome-local-navigation.png | Use configured Open Studio link | This regression capture restored non-secret welcome state after the crash; film a fresh continuous transition for motion. |
| First tour | welcome/05-tour-first-visit.png | Next, Back, End | Acknowledge the44-stop tour and return to the task. |
| Setup and navigation | welcome/06-setup-wizard.png | Open App Root → Setup Wizard, then Account chevron → Profile | Read options without activating every service or using reset. |

| Choose site | welcome/09-choose-provisioned-site.png and10-active-site.png | Home → Choose a site → cedsite | Explain Nothing is loaded and the supplied Active Site URL. Do not reconstruct a URL. |

| Working support entry | support/01-live-chat-open.png | Support → Live Chat, Close, reopen | Real local widget/config loaded; this fixture is not a connection to the Appmint team. No message was sent. |
| Connection failure | support/02-backend-unavailable.png | Clearly labelled test failure, close, retry after recovery | The503 was injected for a regression check. Show the visible unavailable message; do not imply a live outage. |
| Return sign-in | welcome/18-private-return-signin.png and19-private-profile-readback.png | Empty browser context → email → Continue with Password → password → Sign In → Profile | The unique organisation was identified automatically. Show Site Name only if the actual form asks for it. Verify saved name and four interests. |
| Vibe orientation | historical appmint-welcome-verified/23-vibe-signin.png and24-vibe-start.png | Explain separate production tool | Label historical production identity. Start is not a generated application. |

## Graphics and examples

Use the manuscript's route diagram between chapters. A small comparison of Studio Manager, Build Studio and Vibe Studio must use the relevant actual screenshots. A website enquiry → CRM follow-up → consultation → invoice graphic is labelled **workflow to build in later courses**; welcome did not create it.

For support, demonstrate a useful draft: “I’m connecting Cedar & Form’s domain. Organisation: [training ID]. Screen: Active Site. Expected: connection instructions. Actual: [observed result].” Explain why the context helps, then Cancel.

## Final editorial checks

- Keep the free signup path, complete account fields, capability cards, tour acknowledgement and saved profile in sequence.
- Use the current My Account and Site Features names; choosing a feature is separate from configuring it.
- Distinguish customer Chat in the toolbar from Support → Live Chat.
- The old no-op support defect is repaired. Use the new panel/error/recovery captures, not the old workaround as the main path.
- A local reserved email was accepted without an inbox challenge; this does not verify external email delivery.
- No support message, ticket, bug report, service activation, invite, purchase, public site publication or Vibe build was submitted in this welcome walkthrough.

Deliver footage, editable project, narration, transcript, captions, chapter times and a capture ledger with date/build/fixture. Still images remain usable in the standalone Markdown course. Do not reuse unrelated clips to fill unrecorded actions.
