API keys
Keys let a server, script or integration call the API without a user session. A key is created, can be regenerated to rotate its secret without re-pointing what uses it, and can be revoked.
There is no per-key scope. A key issued against an administrator can do everything that administrator can. Create a dedicated low-privilege user per integration and issue the key against that.
Usage is tracked per key, so an unexpected spike can be traced to its source. A leaked key can be blocklisted immediately, which rejects it before requests reach anything.
Usage
Usage is metered per organization — API calls, storage, AI tokens and messaging. Seeing it here is what makes a bill predictable rather than a surprise.
Usage & Spending reads like a bank statement: current balance, what was spent in the date range, spending by service, and every charge with the balance after it — exportable. Open it from the account menu, or from the home screen: Usage in Company Information (next to Billing history and Buy credit) and View usage under the credit balance.
Logs
Activity logs record what happened and who did it. Sign-ins are recorded on both success and failure, with device and location, which is the audit trail behind device security.
